For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. (Mark 11:23)
It’s the emphasis on having what you say and believe that many don’t believe. That’s right, they don’t believe you can have exactly what you say and believe. As result of extremes and negative experiences I discussed, many have developed a more "balanced" approach to Jesus’ statement to the disciples. And by all means, there is a much more balanced approach to it other than what many witnessed and experienced some years ago. However, this balance was never designed to create unbelief about what the Lord said in Mark 11:23. The truth is you CAN have exactly what you say and believe. Of course, like I said, there are some things that need to be present (balance) and I’ll discuss them in a moment. But again, true balance should not create unbelief.
