And let us run with patience [endurance] the race that is set before us.
You are in a race that you have to run with consistency. People value consistency. For example, when you get in your car and turn the key, you want it to start every time. If you want it to work every time, you have to do some things to keep it working: change the sparks and plugs, change the oil, and keep that battery powered. You are involved in a life race.
God has given you a huge battery, and it is called faith. It will power you wherever you want to go. When your battery is kept charged, even though you may be in situation where things don’t look good, you can run through rain, you can drive through wind, and you can go through all kinds of stuff. You may not see much light right now, but if you stay on the road, you are going to hit some sunshine. If you drive long enough, you are going to find some daylight.
When you’re in a tough situation, don’t stop speaking words of faith. Speak to the mountain. Jesus Himself, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, is in the middle of your tough situation offering up your faith words to the Father. He is saying, “Father, this child of yours has confidence and trust in you. My blood caused him to be cleansed. Father, you said that you were pleased when has faith in you, so we are expecting manifestation in his behalf.”
And that is exactly what you are going to get!
