Grace

As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word.

John 17:18-20

Jesus is saying, “I am not just praying for these eleven disciples that are here. I am praying for all those who will come to me because of them.” All believers are included in this prayer, because all of us believed because the disciples were faithful to minister the Word, and others after them have been faithful as well.

Jesus is praying for you to be connected to the Word. He is praying for you to be guarded from losing what you have. He's praying that you be physically safe. He's praying that there be a multiplication of the Word available unto you. Oh, believer, take advantage of the opportunities you have!

Prayer for Today

Father, thank you for your grace! Thank you for your mercy! Thank you for interceding for me and for helping me to be faithful in doing your will: at home and abroad. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
