What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Romans 6:15-16
Paul is talking about judgment. The word yield means to stand beside. In other words, he’s saying that whatever one you’re standing next to is the one you will receive. Whatever one you yield to is the one to which you’ll be hooked up to. If you yield to obedience, you will receive righteousness now; if you yield to sin, you will receive death.
In other words, you can receive the gift offered to you, or you can decide to go with the devil. Your judgment can be negative or positive. The determinate is you. You make the choice.

Father, I choose to trust in you. I choose to yield myself to your truth and your Word. I choose to receive the gifts of life and blessings you offer me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
