For Such A Time As This

 

 

“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" Esther 4:14

Brought to her position, to save a nation.

      We all know the story of Esther, a godly young woman catapulted from obscurity and poverty to the palace seemingly overnight. She enjoyed the favor of the king, and had everything she could want. Her uncle Mordecai’s words awakened her to the real purpose of her royalty and affluence; she had “come to the kingdom for such a time as this. Esther heeded the call, responded, and the courage of this young girl saved a nation from destruction.

God's Great Plans for Elder AND Younger Together

Now I have used this prophetic voice to say this before, and I shall say it again through this voice: The elders are going to mentor the younger. The gray hairs of wisdom are coming out, COMING out! I am turning retirement into   re-firement. I am challenging the young ones to LOOK toward the elders and sit at their feet and listen. (

"Listen to the old stories. They will strengthen you.

"Wisdom is being released, and I am lavishly sharing it. Now, go to the hedges and highways and byways and DECLARE what good things I have done for you," says the Lord of Lords.

Mark 5:19 Jesus did not let him, but said, "Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how He has had mercy on you."

I Am Doing a Great New Thing!"

"YOU are precious to Me, America. I will not abandon you. I have not abandoned you. I have not abandoned Israel either. I will not abandon anyone in any nation that is MINE, MINE, MINE. I will not abandon you!

"But now I say to you, be careful what you say, do, and share. Make sure it's Me...not your passion, BUT ME! Be careful you do not appear above or below anyone. Please be mindful of the poor and lost and needy. I love them so.

"Be brave to give and brave to receive. Some of you have forgotten the blessing of receiving. Some of you have forgotten the blessing of giving. IT'S FOR YOU.

WHEN EVERYTHING SEEMS WRONG

EVERDAY WE ARE FACED WITH LIFE CHALLENGES, BUT I COME TO TELL YOU THAT THE LORD IS A KEEPER AND HE IS WITH US NO MATTER WHAT WE GO THROUGH OR HOW DIFFICULT IT APPEARS TO BE. GIVE A SHOUT OF PRAISE AND WATCH HIM MOVE IN THE MIDST OF YOUR STRUGGLE.

 

 

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

 

 

Gracious Father, I don't want nearness to You to be an occasional experience - I want it to be a perpetual experience. Help me to pay the price, no matter what it costs.

In Jesus' Name I ask it. Amen.

 

How do we go about the task of keeping close to God?

 

 

 Firstly, we do so by prayer.

 

The person who keeps close to God is the one who is always talking to God. Many definitions of prayer have been given; I add another: prayer is co-operation with God. In prayer you align your desires, your will, your life to God. You and God become agreed on life desires, life purposes, life plans, and you work them out together. Secondly, we do it by constant study of the Scriptures. God's Word is alive with meaning, and when you read it something will happen to you, for "the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword" (Heb.4:12, NKJ). Expect it to speak to you - and it will.

Faith is expectancy: "According to your faith will it be done to you" (Matt. 9:29).

Remember also to surrender to the truth that is revealed:

"If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know '" (John 7:17, NKJ). In a moral universe the key to knowledge is moral response. The moment we cease to obey, that moment the revelation ceases to reveal. We do it, thirdly, by sharing with others. Remember, nothing is ours if we do not share it. When we share, the things go deeper inside us. We must share what God is doing, both with our fellow Christians and with non-Christians also. The psalmist's last words are these: "I will tell of all your deeds." We take and we tell - we take and we tell; these, we must never forget, are the two heartbeats of the Christian experience.

WORDS THAT WILL BRING LIFE IN A MARRIAGE

 But if one of you suffers with depression’s telltale signs—low self-esteem, severe fatigue and sleeplessness, lack of concentration—we know it affects you both. And the strain of it has the potential to steadily increase the distance you may feel from one another.

So we encourage you today to love your husband or wife in ways that are intensely real, genuine and sacrificial. Instead of taking all of this personally, realize that the emotional darkness your mate is experiencing likely has little or nothing to do with anything you’ve done or not done. This is simply your chance to listen, to be patient, to go to him or her without accusations or piously offered “overly spiritual” answers. Rather than urging your mate to “snap out of it!” or flip a switch that allows you to get on with life, this may just be a time to crawl up in bed and hold each other. To pray, offer comfort and read the Scriptures. To remind each other of what’s true and eternal and longer lasting than any earthly suffering and hardship. Do you want to be a hero to your wife? Do you want to be the gleam in your husband’s eye? Then be your mate’s most faithful encourager. Be his or her rock to lean on when everything seems dark and cold and purposeless. Don’t lay blame. Don’t become short-tempered. Don’t come down hard and make demands. Just carry the burden . . . “and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.”

How Far Does His Forgiveness Reach

"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Corinthians  6:9-10

 

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
People have the idea today that it is okay to live in immorality and that God is going to overlook their little indiscretions. Is that so?

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (Galatians 6:7). God doesn't miss a beat of our lives. He is the righteous judge and
will judge accordingly (see Hebrews 13:4). 

"Well Pastor, does that mean that if I have done any of these
things, I can't be saved?" 

No! 1 Corinthians 6:11 promises: "And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." Hallelujah!

There is no sin so awful that the blood of Christ cannot cleanse. He makes the vilest sinner clean. 

 

 

Comfort in Him

Psalms 23:2 He makes me to lie down in  green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 

 

You've been waiting for the right time to step out and accomplish what has  seemed to be beyond you.  Now is that time.  But, it would be good for  you to ask for wisdom in the process of being led step by step along the way.   Rest assured that I am with you and for you, and I will speak into your  situation and bring peace to your heart, says the Lord.  Trust Me! 

Nearer my God to Thee

 

 

Come near to God and he will come near to you." (v.8) JAMES 4:1-10

The final two verses of Psalm 73 form a conclusion and a resolution. Listen to them once again: "Those who are far from you will perish; you destroy all who are unfaithful to you. But as for me, it is good to be near God.

WE  have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds" (vv.27-28). The psalmist has finished his review of the past and is now hammering out a philosophy with which to face the future. He is resolved that no matter what anyone else may do, he is going to live in close companionship with God.

He helps us to see the importance of this resolution by putting it in the form of a contrast: "Those who are far from you will perish ' but as for me, it is good to be near God." Really, when it comes down to it, there are only two positions in life - close to God or far away from Him.

I wonder, as the psalmist penned these words was something like this going through his mind: "What caused me so much trouble in recent days and accounted for all my difficulties was the fact that I did not keep close to God. I erroneously believed that the cause of my problems was the prosperity of the ungodly, but having entered into the sanctuary of God I see that this was not the cause of my problems at all.

My problems came because I had chosen not to remain close to Him. For me there is now only one thing that matters - staying close to God." How are things with you at this moment? Do you feel close to God? If you don't, then let me put what I want to say in the words of a wayside pulpit that arrested my attention some years ago: "If you feel that God is far away guess who moved?"

SO MANY MEN OF GOD ARE DIVORCING THEIR WIVES FOR WHATEVER REASON AND VICE VERSA.  I COME TO TELL YOU THAT I HAVE MADE MISTAKES IN MY MARRIAGE BUT I NEVER WANT TO BE WITHOUT THE MAN THAT GOD HAS ADDED AT MY SIDE AND WHAT A GRACIOUS GIFT HE IS.  I AM HIS QUEEN AND HE IS MY KING AND I WILL ALWAYS POSITION MYSELF TO SPEAK TO HIM IN LOVE IF THERE ARE THINGS THAT BEGAN TO CAUSE FRICTION OR PROBLEMS.

THE EASIEST THING IS FOR COUPLES TO DIVORCE ANS MAKE THE LAWYERS RICHER BUT I CHALLENGE EACH ONE OF US IN A MARRIAGE TO PRAY DAILY FOR OUR COMPANIONS AND TO KEEP THE LINES OF COMMUNICATION OPEN.

 

 

Intertwine Yourselves for Strength

Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. GALATIANS 6:2

 

If we ever needed one another the season is now.  So many things happening and everything so hurries.  we find ourselves spending lesser and lesser time in prayer, watching and worrying more than the given answers that we would receive if we took time ND PRAYED.

START EVERYDAY OFF WITH A MIGHTY YOKE DESTROYING PRAYER AND GOD WILL ANSWER YOU IMMEDIATELY

Father, I am grateful that You have made me with the ability to think. My thoughts can lead me astray or they can lead me to You. Help me to draw my thought patterns not from the world but from Your Word. In Jesus' Name I ask it. Amen.

Abba Father, thank you for bringing me into your family. May I never disappoint you in the way I treat others. May they see in me the qualities of character that can only be attributed to your presence in my life. To you be the glory and the honor, forever and ever, through Jesus my Lord. Amen.

Don't Miss The Signs

 

 

 

I am giving you signs in this season. Signs of confirmation. Signs that will  enable you believe without the doubt that has plagued you in past seasons. For,  this is the time of the growing up of My people; the perfecting of My saints.  This is the time for you to come into what I have called you to be. This is the  time to enjoy the journey that I have prepared for you. This is the time to walk  with Me on that journey. Great joy and great peace shall be yours in this season  if you will walk with Me, says the Lord.

The Chosen Stone and His Chosen People

 We are not at the point of building a building; however, we are busy building the Tabernacle of God one living stone after another. God is far more interested in tje people than buildings. With each person He sends our way we immediately begin to see where His selected vessel fit in His Master plan. It is also interesting that He is selecting from a group of people who would not be most leaders choice. He is gifting and equipping unknown prophetic people to send our way who have been searching for their place in His Kingdom. Each person at these Gatherings have received at least one spiritual gift. According to 1 Timothy 4:14. These biblical acts are powerfully effective as the gift is imparted through prophecy and the laying on of hands. I along with our prophetic elders, one by one we prophecy laying on hands with the impartation by the Spirit of God. Each person receives a healing handkerchief with a new and fresh anointing; witnesses at the Gathering sign each others impartation handkerchief as we all lift up the name of Jesus giving all the praise and glory unto Him who is the Word of God.

 

    The Chosen Stone and His Chosen People

"Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,

"Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame"

(1 Peter 2:4-6 NKJV)

"Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."

Meekness is one of the most confused adjectives in all of the Beatitudes because most people confuse meekness with weakness. Jesus said He was "meek and lowly" (see Matthew 11:29), but He
wasn't weak. 

The word "meek" means "strength that is brought under control."

When horse trainers "break" horses, they describe what they do as "meeked." They don't cripple the horses or take away their strength. They train them to use their strength in control.

In the same way, God doesn't come into your life to cripple you. Why would He follow with "for they shall inherit the earth"? God did not make this world for the devil's crowd.  He made the world for you.

ACTION POINT:
Ask your heavenly Father today to break the strongholds in your life, break your strong will, and replace it with His strength under discipline. He will do it, if you give Him permission. This is the
heart of true meekness.

Pray NOW at PURIM for Israel and America

 

We are entering tonight into PURIM, the Jewish Holiday celebrating the deliverance, through the efforts of Esther and Mordecai – the deliverance of all of Israel from the plots of wicked Haman (see the book of Esther). As we enter into this Holiday and celebration with our Israeli friends and brothers, this important article and revelation from the Lord comes through Robert Stearns, a Jewish brother.

Please see this article as a call to both pray for America, Israel, and the Middle East, plus the simultaneous call to enter into the celebration of Purim and the Worship of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who delivers His people, Israel and the Church throughout the earth – just as powerfully today as He did in the days of Esther.

One last note:  Robert Stearns hits a very sobering note as he refers to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu as Mordecai, and the United States of America as Esther… who was called "For Such a Time as This."

When the disciples were on a boat, there was a great storm and eventually out of fear they called Jesus (who was sleeping on the boat). He FIRSTLY rebuked their unbelief and fear and then cursed the storm and immediately it subsided. JESUS NEVER CURSED ANYTHING THAT GOD DID. So the storm and the winds were for their destruction and had to be stopped.

Your training has strengthned You

I heard the Lord say, "I am bringing fresh courage to those who have not felt strong enough to resist temptation. Their breakthrough is coming. The people that you see resisted similar temptations and can now help others to do the same. They have been made strong through the process of resistance training."

I could see that the people who were building the wall had already been strengthened to do it by building their own walls prior, and I was shocked to see how quickly the walls were made ready and strong as they began to work together.

I strongly believe that the Lord is calling some of us into a new level of walking out vulnerability and accountability  within community at this time. I also believe that as this process is undertaken, that many Believers will experience an incredible increase of courage, fresh vision, renewed spiritual sensitivity, and incredible freedom as they do!
